As we were leaving Foix under sunny skies, the mountains were coming up in quick succession to add to our climbing total. The highlight of the day was the ascent of the Col d’Agnes where we were greeted by lots of cows and their calves forming a road block. At the end of the day we enjoyed a long slightly downhill road into St Girons, where we stayed at the nice hotel Eychenne, were some enjoyed the pool.
